Braves Win 13th Division in a Row

Last night, the Atlanta Braves won a record 13th consecutive division title. That's the most in the history of sport. Read more here.

Can Italy Learn Democracy?

Another blogger has written a great piece comparing 1943 Italy to Iraq today. Many of the same gloom and doom predictions Kerry is spreading about Iraq were being said about Italy then. Read more here.

From the Horse's Mouth

"We know we can't count on the French. We know we can't count on the Russians. We know that Iraq is a danger to the United States, and we reserve the right to take pre-emptive action whenever we feel it's in our national interest."

John F Kerry, From 1997 Crossfire Interview

This is from the same man who criticizes Bush for not getting the French and Russians involved in the current Iraq war!

Tax Cuts Extended

The Bush tax cuts have been extended. This is great news. I find it curious, however, that Kerry voted to extend them. These are the same tax cuts that Kerry criticized by saying they only help "the rich". Why would he vote for tax cuts he is against? Kerry only voted to extend them because it would be political suicide to vote to raise taxes while running for president. Mark my words: Kerry will try to kill these cuts as soon as he gets in office. A vote for Kerry is a vote for higher taxes.

Kerry Lies About Iraq

John Kerry now says he never would have gotten us involved with Iraq. DON'T BELIEVE IT. Below is what he said a few months ago on Meet the Press. This angers me to no end because it is IN DIRECT CONTRADICTION with what he now says about the war. This guys is a liar. Read his position now and read what he said below. Proof positive that he is not telling the truth about what he would have done in Iraq. Watch the video here.

NBC'S TIM RUSSERT: "You said this about Howard Dean, and this is, I think, at the core of your candidacy against Howard Dean. '...those who believe we are not safer with [Saddam Hussein's] capture don't have the judgment to be President - or the credibility to be elected President.' As we speak this Sunday morning, Senator, do you believe that Howard Dean does not have the judgment to be president or the credibility to be elected president?"

SEN. KERRY: "I think the judgment of a nominee who doesn't understand that having Saddam Hussein captured will make it extraordinarily difficult to be able to beat an incumbent wartime president who captured Saddam Hussein. And let me tell you why, Tim. Saddam Hussein took us to war once before. In that war, young Americans were killed. He went to war in order to take over the oil fields. It wasn't just an invasion of Kuwait. He was heading for the oil fields of Saudi Arabia. And that would have had a profound effect on the security of the United States. This is a man who has used weapons of mass destruction, unlike other people on this Earth today, not only against other people but against his own people. This is a man who tried to assassinate a former president of the United States, a man who lobbed 36 missiles into Israel in order to destabilize the Middle East, a man who is so capable of miscalculation that he even brought this war on himself. This is a man who, if he was left uncaptured, would have continued to be able to organize the Ba'athists. He would have continued to terrorize the people, just in their minds, because of 30 years of terror in Iraq." (NBC's "Meet The Press," 1/11/04)

Kerry's Negative Message

Watch John Kerry. In every speech he preaches a gloom and doom message. Iraq is going terribly. The economy is in the tank. Kerry's constant negativity is in stark contrast to Bush's consistent, unwavering message of hope. Bush calls this freedom's century. I believe Bush's positive message will resonate with the people. You can't win people over with gloom and doom.

Flipper Flips

A month ago, John Kerry said that a person that didn't believe we were safer with Saddam out of power was not competent enough to be President. Yesterday, Kerry said that the war in Iraq has replaced a dictator with chaos, and has made America less safe. Kerry believes we were better off with Saddam in power. Therefore, by Kerry's own words, he is not competent to be President.

A month ago, John Kerry said that, knowing what we know now, he still would have voted to authorize the war. A few nights ago on the David Letterman program, he said that we would not be in Iraq if he had been elected President four years ago.

When asked in his press conference yesterday why he didn't vote for the 1991 Gulf War, one of the reasons he sited was that the American people were divided over the issue. Kerry, like Clinton, looks at polls to guide his descisions. Leaders lead. Leaders make the tough call in the face of adversity. Bush is a leader. Kerry is a follower.

This man has NO POSITION on the most important issue facing out country. Don't vot for him!

Iranian Woman Asks For One Beating Per Week

Spousal abuse isn't funny, but this article sort of is.

CBS, Collusion and Carl Rove

People can blame Carl Rove for anything. I just heard a Dem pundit suggest that Carl Rove cooked the documents to embarrass CBS and John Kerry. What nonsense. Its much more likely that the Kerry campaign was in on this. The fact that Burkett was in phone contact with Kerry advisor, Joe Lockhart, right before the memos appeared on 60 Minutes is very suspicious. I doubt we'll ever no what really went down.

What Happened to Cat Stevens?

Rock star Cat Stevens was just taken off an airplane for being on a terror watch list. His name is now Usop Islam and he looks like a Muslim version of the Uni-Bomber. Hmmm, perhaps all those drugs in the 60's have something to do with this. Nah.

The CBS Anti-Bush Crusade Continues

Last night, a day after admitting the anti-Bush documents 60 Minutes showed were fake, CBS's David Letterman had John Kerry as his guest. Following Kerry, Green Day sung its clearly anti-Bush song, "American Idiot". Rather + Kerry + Green Day = Obvious media bias on the part of CBS.
