Read it here. It makes me mad that this guy is going to break Aaron's record.
Great Polling Website
Here is another cool website that compiles many of the polls to try to get a more accurate picture of where we are in the Presidential race. It has Bush up by about 3%.

MTV Tries To Scare Voters Away From Bush
Go to rockthevote.com and see the cheap stunt MTV is trying to pull. This fake memo is clearly trying to tell teens that they better vote for Kerry or there will be a draft. What a joke! Rock the Vote is only out to Rock the Democratic vote. I'm sure they would prefer it if young Republicans sat at home on November 2.

The REAL Unemployment Numbers
From Boortz:
The unemployment rate for September was 5.4%. That's considered to be low. Here's a breakdown:
Adult men – 5.0%
Adult women – 4.7%
Teenagers – 16.6%
Now teenagers aren't generally heads of households. That would mean that the unemployment rate for people who actually have to work for a living and support a family is somewhere between 4.7 and 5.0%.

Historical Perspective
Historian Paul Boller recently wrote this about the Presidential Election: Factions including "peace groups castigating the president for taking the country into war and calling for a speedy end to the conflict; harsh critics harping on the president's mismanagement of the war effort and blaming him for reverses on the battlefield; and administration supporters insisting that all good patriots should rally around the flag and help the president bring the conflict to a successful conclusion." Not suprising? What is suprising is that Boller is talking about the re-election of James Madison.

Good News Out of Fallujah
It seems that the Iraqi people are finally fed up with the foreign terrorists pouring into their country. Recently, Fallujah locals have risen up against them. One of Zarqawi's key henchmen, in fact, was recently killed by Iraqis. Additionally, foreign terrorists are being refused safe haven in homes. This is more evidence that the Iraqi people want freedom and that we should stay Bush's course. Certainly, this is not good news for the Kerry campaign. Read more here, because it definitely won't make major news in newspapers or TV.
Edwards's Outlandish Promises
From Drudge:
Edwards: 'We will stop juvenile diabetes, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's and other debilitating diseases... When John Kerry is president, people like Christopher Reeve are going get up out of that wheelchair and walk again.' Edwards made the unprecedented campaign promises during 30-minute speech at Newton High School gym in Newton, Iowa...
I personally would like to see how the hell John Kerry could do any of these things while President. Perhaps, instead of running for office, Kerry and Edwards should put on their labcoats and get to work curing all of mankind's ailments. That's probably a better use of their time if they are capable of doing all the things Edwards claims.

Franks Attacks Kerry
Tommy Franks is attacking Kerry's voting record and his post-Vietnam mistakes. Please note the General's most important point: If Kerry had been President since 1991, not only would Saddam still be in power today, he would have control of Kuwait, as well. As much as Kerry praises the 1991 coalition that included 137 countries, he still VOTED AGAINST going to war in '91. Read what Franks had to say here.

The Braves Magnificent Futility
Turner Field opened for baseball in 1997. Since then, the Braves have been eliminated from the postseason AT HOME the following years: 1997, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and now 2004. Pitiful. I'm selling all of my Braves gear. Cheap. Let me know if you want to buy semi-used sports merchandise.
More Ridiculous Statements From Kerry
In a recent NYT article, John Kerry says that he wants to reduce terrorism to a "nuisance". This is a dangerous statement from a man not ready for the Presidency. These terrorist are evil jihadists who will stop at nothing to kill us. This is not the type of problem that can be reduced to an acceptible level and then forgotten about. Me must have resolve and we must continue to fight. Neal Boortz had a great blurb about this that everyone should read:
The election is still 22 days away, but John Kerry may have just put another nail in his own coffin. The Poodle gave an interview to the New York Times Magazine, and in it he was asked "what it would take for Americans to feel safe again." sKerry's astonishing reply? ''We have to get back to the place we were, where terrorists are not the focus of our lives, but they're a nuisance."
A nuisance? Get back to where we were? This is a stunning admission. Just when was terrorism merely a nuisance to Americans? Before 9/11? Evidently that's Kerry's perception. Kerry has publicly stated that he wants to return to the pre-911 Clinton policies whereby Islamic terrorism was treated like a law enforcement problem. He wants to go back to the time where America was repeatedly attacked over a 20-year period, yet we did virtually nothing to retaliate. After all, we treated the terrorists like they were a nuisance.
Will Kerry tell the families of the American sailors killed on the USS Cole that the Islamic murderers who killed them were just a mere nuisance? How about the families of the Marines killed in the Khobar towers in 1996? Kerry was in the Senate on that terrible day ... and we heard no call for firm action from him.
How about the Israeli families who lost children when Palestinian terrorists attacked Israeli schools? What a nuisance that was! Do you know how long it takes to clean up all that blood and stuff?
Well, as we found out on September 11, 2001, Islamic terrorists are not a nuisance. They are a threat to freedom and an evil menace that has to be crushed. But it's Bush who wants to destroy them, not Kerry. Once the Islamic terrorists have been reduced to a mere nuisance level, Kerry will be able to turn his attention to other matters, like raising taxes on the evil rich (apparently another nuisance) and expanding the reach of the Imperial Federal Government with trillions more in federal spending.
Wait! There's more! Listen to what else Kerry had to say:
"As a former law enforcement person, I know we're never going to end prostitution. We're never going to end illegal gambling. But we're going to reduce it, organized crime, to a level where it isn't on the rise. It isn't threatening people's lives every day, and fundamentally, it's something that you continue to fight, but it's not threatening the fabric of your life.''
Oh really? We're going to compare Islamic jihadists flying airplanes into buildings and slaughtering 3,000 innocent people with prostitutes or someone taking a bet on a football game? Unbelievable. He is comparing terrorism to a victimless crime that society tolerates. In other words, he's saying that we should just learn to live with the terrorism, as long as there's just not too much of it. Maybe we ought to establish terror districts in major cities. If we can just limit the killings to certain neighborhoods everything will be hunky dory.
The Bush camp is jumping on this big-time, and they should. The ads will start rolling soon on this one. The United States is engaged in a struggle against terrorism and the Democratic nominee for president of the United States is calling it a nuisance.
Like the TV ads are going to say...how can Kerry fight the war on terror when he doesn't even understand the threat?

Worst Weekend in Georgia Sports History
Can we just skip October from now on? Every year, October rolls in with such promise. The Georgia Bulldogs are undefeated. The Braves enter the playoffs. Every year, Georgia loses to Florida and the Braves get bounced early. This year, the Bulldogs didn't even make it to the Florida game before blowing it. As I sit here and watch the Braves game, I have no hope for a comeback. And the Falcons are losing.
Man Sets Record For Burgers In Mouth
This might be the stupidest quote of all time:
"I just thought to myself, I've got to do this, I've got to do this," Nicholas said. "I'm on top of the world right now, because everyone's going to know that I can shove more than three burgers in my mouth!"
