well john.. i'm bored at work and discovered your blog so let me comment on a few things. first of all, while the picture is amusing, it is merely of a great reporter, dan rather next to one of the most enigmatic leaders of the 20th century. whatever you may think of is oppressive policies, he is worth an interview which i'm sure is what rather was doing there. whats wrong with a photo-op in that situation? i would do the same thing and probably frame the picture on my wall. as for your incesant talk of handwriting samples yada yada.. the fact remains that W. skipped out on his physical examination from the reserves in 1972. coincidentally?!? that was the first year that drug screening was introduced in those same tests. and of course W. has famously denied doing illegal drugs (other than his alcohol binges) after 1974. while this to me is of minor importance 30 years later, it does amuse me how bush backers attempt to dsicredit anything that portrays their "backed by god" president in an unflattering light. lets just stick to the issues people. -D rock
